The Municipal Advisory Committee (MAC) for McKinleyville (McKMAC) has assumed a local leadership role in evaluating McKinleyville's interest in incorporation. At the request of the McKMAC, California (un)Incorporated made a presentation (see below) at the committee's meeting on 08/24/2022, described in an article in the Mad River Union. Since then, the McKMAC has been active in pursuit of the issue. Details on the committee's work can be found on the McKMAC webpage.
